NEEDLE ARTS GUILD
About the guild . . .
Do you sew, knit, crochet, cross stitch, quilt, crewel, needlepoint, rug hook, or other form of Needle Art...?
You are welcome at one of our meetings to learn more about our guild. We have both day and evening meetings. Needle Arts meetings are flexible. We have daytime meetings every Tuesday from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. and evening meetings the second, fourth and fifth Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. You may attend any or all of the meetings.
These are working meetings to which we bring our own projects. Daytime meetings are held in the seminar room; evening meetings in our own work room where we have storage cabinets, supplies, tables and a small library of books which may be checked out.
Occasionally, our meetings will be Workshop Meetings when we will learn a new technique or procedure.
Often during the year, we may take a field trip to a museum, a special exhibit or a shopping expedition to an interesting needlework or fabric shop.
Social meetings are held twice a year, in either December or January and in June.

The Needle Arts Guild continues to be a drop-off site for hats for cancer patients which are taken top Mass General Hospital. We are also a drop-off site for pillowcases for ConKerr Cancer www.conkerrcancer.org. These items can be dropped off Monday through Friday during regular business hours.
The Needle Arts guild also accepts needle arts supplies of all kinds; yarn, fabric......We make these donations available to our members and all LACS members. We give donations to schools and any group that can use them. Once a year, usually in May, we have a swap/giveaway open to the public. After that we put them out as "Free Goods". So if you are cleaning out or downsizing, we will take your needle arts goods.
