Our organization was first founded in 1935 to foster Art in the community. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Today it is composed of nine guilds: Each guild has its own schedule of meetings, workshops, classes and seminars, as well as its own specialized tools and equipment. Artists and crafts-persons are thus able to work in a community of artisans with similar interests, sharing ideas and expertise.
We hold a variety of exciting exhibits in our Gallery year-round providing an opportunity for members to exhibit or sell their work free of charge to the public.
There are also numerous classes, both day and evening offered to anyone interested from September through June at reasonable rates. Scholarships are even available to graduating seniors from Lexington High School and our Scholarship Committee provides continuing support to scholarship recipients in furthering their art careers at accredited art institutions.
Give us a call anytime, or just stop by.
Our doors are always open.
